John Bullock

Student Leadership Profile: MBAA Vice President of Student Affairs - MBA Candidate 2008

He simply states, “He prefers to be called by his middle name John and not his first name Greg.” John Bullock is a man of few words but always successfully expresses his views. He is also very detailed oriented.

Originally from Baltimore, MD, Bullock obtained an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Virginia. Prior to Smith, he worked as a territory sales manager with Philip Morris USA in Baltimore.

After orientation at the Smith School, Bullock was keenly interested in fostering a sense of family in the Smith Community. He became actively involved in on-going student related projects on campus.

The three things that he wishes to implement during his tenure are improving communication between our students and faculty, providing the Masters Programs Office with better understanding of students’ perspectives regarding its numerous programs, and facilitating an engaging and informative orientation program for the class of 2009.

Looking for a way to engage John Bullock in conversation? Remind of him about the time when he showed up at a wedding as part of the groom’s party mistakenly in a non-matching tuxedo. His jacket was navy blue and his pants were black. You can also add “sense of humor” to his profile.
