Quantitative
Preparation
If you are admitted into the
Smith MBA Program, you may be advised
to take a calculus or statistics
prerequisite course prior to the
beginning of the academic school
year. This quantitative preparation
request is based on a combination
of factors such as your quantitative
GMAT scores, employment history,
and undergraduate performance.
If you have been out of
school for several years and
wish to prepare for the MBA, you
can begin with a thorough review
of mathematics including
pre-calculus, introductory
statistics, and accounting.
The following table includes
a sample of calculus classes in
the Greater Baltimore-Washington
DC Area that have previously been
approved. Schools may require a
placement test or prerequisite before
you may enroll in a calculus course.
