Smith MBAs Interview on the Greens
"Interview on the Greens" was a semester project conceived of, planned and executed by six Smith MBA students as part of Cynthia Stevens' leadership development class. "The event pairs Smith MBA students with local business representatives by matching corporate needs with student interests," said Jonathan Rappaport, a student organizer. Sponsored by the Part-Time MBA Association, the golf tournament provides an opportunity for students to meet and expand their professional networks in a unique and fun environment. At the 18th hole there was a "Longest Drive in a Dress" competition. Players were asked to contribute $5 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to participate in the competition. The prize was a $50 gift certificate to the Hampshire Greens Golf shop. "In total we raised $2,200 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society through the event," said Rappaport.
