Gary Cohen honored at Women's Soccer Faculty Appreciation Day |
|
Gary Cohen, a lecturer in the Logistics, Business
& Public Policy Department at the Robert H. Smith School of
Business, was honored on Oct. 29, 2009, at "Faculty
Appreciation Day" by the University of Maryland's Women's Soccer
Team.
"Mr. Cohen is appreciated by his students for
his class discussions, which are filled with his own business
experience, making it easy for us to make the connection between
what we read in our books and its application to the business world.
He challenges us to keep up with current business news and be able
to articulate what we have discovered to our classmates. Most
importantly, Mr. Cohen is concerned not only with our performance in
his class, but our well-being and development as individuals. Always
available to meet and be a listening, helpful ear, Mr. Cohen sets
himself apart as a great example of someone who takes the time to
prepare his students for life outside of the University of
Maryland."
